It isn't over yet!!!

Lots of time was spent with Grandma and Grandpa playing, going to the zoo and reading books
We then headed back to Coaldale for the Dueck get together. We spent a every afternoon in the lake behind the house swimming, splashing and having lots of fun!!!
We had a huge cousin birthday party, which was lots of fun!!!!( Sorry Ben you got cut off, and it was my only picture). Cake and presents here we come!!!!


Of course it wouldn't be fair not to mention that Lana bonded very well with "Daddy Ryan" this week, which is quite the opposite of Julie's response to her Dad's twin.We had a treat when Grandma fired up the quad and took all of the kids for a ride!!! She really is becoming a "Biker Mama"!!!! We had so much fun. The kids played with their cousins, grandparents and Uncles and Aunties, read books, ate treats and so much more!! After this we headed home and Ryan and Naomi spent about 28hours at our place before heading back to Coaldale at midnight, I am sure Naomi will post more details!! Holidays!!!!!

Our summer vacation started with a trip to CA, with the Wiens clan, for a family wedding and some other fun stuff. Here we are in a beach garden center on the Californian coast.
This is the home of my Uncle Greg and Auntie Ruth, where we stayed and visited while we were in Shafter which is about 2 hours inland. Yes all of those people stayed in the house, it was a party!!

Then we headed back to Coaldale with visits to Mark, Bonnie and Ben's house and Gil's parents.
Then we drove Airdrie and visited at my parents house for a few days. As you can see the highlight was riding the horses with Grandpa.
This was Lana's first ride by herself on Rain!!!
